Don’t be another statistic. Keep your eye on the prize of getting organized and eliminating unwanted clutter.

As with most goals, you sometimes need another voice to help you push forward. For workout goals, a personal trainer is that voice. The voice that gets you to do one more crunch or run an extra mile. For this task, your voice will be one of our digital trainers aka ScanSnap Squad members. Read below for their recent successes as well as tips that you can apply during your quest to go digital.

Linda Davis/Real Estate Solutions, SimplyLedyard
“For about 25 years I showed up at my REMAX Real Estate office every morning around 8AM. When I moved to a home office in 2008, I moved eight legal sized filing cabinets with me. I managed to scan and file the paper in all 32 drawers using my Fitijsu ScanSnap. Seven years later I use my Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 regularly to keep those drawers free of paper.”

“I use my ScanSnap to scan just about everything that still comes in paper through the mail to keep me virtually paper-free. I especially recommend scanning medical and dental bills once they are paid, with the payment confirmation or check number written on the bill, and then saving it in an Evernote Notebook called Medical Bills (Year XXXX). Then, if you do end up claiming medical expenses on your taxes or need to refer to them for any reason, you will already have the necessary backup at your fingertips. But don’t forget to shred the bills once they are paid and scanned. There is almost never a need to keep the paper copy, and you don’t want them taking up unnecessary room in your file cabinet or cluttering your desk!

Karen Simon/Business Organization, PC Tech Associates & Island Organizers
“The biggest bane of every small business: keeping & organizing receipts, but gone are the days of shuffling through them to find one. We simply feed them into ScanSnap and attach each to Quickbooks transactions – instantly organized and searchable!”

Just think of how easy it will be to locate documents and how clean your desk, office or house will be after you accomplish this goal and are a digital wiz.

In closing, we will leave you with the following words of inspiration…you can do this! We believe in you.
