ScanSnap Advocate Spotlight: EXIT Realty Achieve

The ScanSnap S1100 Color Scanner is is a beautiful and handy piece of equipment you'll want in your tech toolbox.

The ScanSnap S1100 scanner is a beautiful and handy piece of equipment you’ll want in your tech toolbox. Correction – As a Real Estate professional in our digitized, world it’s a requirement. It’s easy to set up, easy to use, faster than the scanners that come with inkjet printers, and it’s super portable. I find myself using it more and more every day to scan business cards, contracts, floor plans, surveys, etc.

Its true value is how it allows me to scan and save documents to my laptop and/or the cloud for safe keeping and retrieval later. I’ve been saving more and more documents electronically, and business cards have been a real challenge. I don’t like phone or tablet-based (business card) scanner software. That’s why the ScanSnap Cardminder software has become a regular scan-to destination for me. It extracts the information from my business cards so that I can keep them organized and easily accessible, all in one place.

It even does double-sided scans with no effort. The speed of scanning, resolution, and accuracy on business cards is outstanding, and much better than the various phone/tablet software I’ve tried in the past. I would highly recommend this product for use by any Real Estate professional. Even if you regularly use a tablet with clients to secure signatures on agreements, you will occasionally run into someone that wants to sign paper. With this scanner, getting that signed single or multi-page document saved back on your hard drive or cloud drive is very easy.
