How to Change Your Destination Folder in ScanSnap Cloud

We hope you enjoy using ScanSnap Cloud to scan your documents, receipts, business cards and photos directly to your favorite cloud provider! But have you ever wanted to scan to a specific folder within your cloud account? As a default, ScanSnap Cloud creates a ScanSnap folder in your destination cloud to send to and save all of your scanned files in. But if you want to create a specific folder in Box or Dropbox that your team can access, or save receipts from a particular trip into a new Expensify or Shoeboxed folder – it’s easy to change. Follow these steps to change the destination in the settings:

Start by opening the ScanSnap Cloud application on your desktop or mobile device. If you are on your desktop go to the Tools menu and select options.

Under the options window you will see Scan Settings- this is where you can manage your settings and change your cloud services. The first drop down menu is Save Destination- this is where you can change the folder your scanned data is going into.

If you are on the mobile device, open the menu by clicking on the 3 lines at the top left corner of the screen.



When the menu opens, select Settings, then Select Cloud Storage Services.



If you have your data going into different locations, select the cloud service you want to change.



Once it opens you can changed the save destination from there.



Now you’re all set to scan into the folder of your choice. Happy scanning!
